Changing contact info

In addition to the email spam problem we also have an ongoing phone spam problem. Our phone rings about 20 times an hour with offers of all kinds - loans, insurance, advertising, web sites...etc. How can we answer all those calls? We can't. We try to get off the lists but that doesn't work. We're changing our phone number, but now I'm so paranoid about spammers finding it that I ask that you please just call the number we've had from the beginning and the recording will give you the new number. Since 99.9% of the spam calls are machines I think that's pretty safe. I'm so sorry for all the trouble and we're trying to find a better solution.
this Lustr'ed Cloth, redux and new silk stuff
Friday, March 07, 2008 Filed in:New
Oy, it's been a busy (and long and cold)
winter here! Just a quick note as we're
getting many inquiries about 'this
Lustr'ed Cloth'. We are expecting
another shipment within the next
(hopefully) couple weeks. We are not
taking orders just yet as with the
changing value of the US dollar we don't
know yet what our price is (it may
change, or it may not).
Also, we're in the process of adding new dyed silk goodies to the online catalog. They are vibrant single fibers and fiber play packs, along with a restock of undyed hankies and cocoon strippings. Photos soon.

Finally, here's the goods on the new good: Fibrefusion's new book, ON FORM
Fibrefusion is pauline Verrinder's advnced textile exhibiting group based in Cambridge England. The group has authored three previous books, BEYOND BOUNDARIES, ENCRUSTATION, and EVOLUTIONS.
ON FORM is a stitcher's workbook on sculptural textiles, the size is about 22 cm x 22 cm and is spiral bound (making it so easy to leave open on your work table). For those familiar with the previous Fibrefusion books, it similar in format to those but with a crisper, contemporary feel. It has 56 pages and many color photographs. It's not a textile recipe book, but rather an idea jumping off point, allowing for your own original ideas to shine through.
