What is your return policy? TOP
If your merchandise does not fit your needs it is returnable (in saleable condition) within 10 days of the receiving date. Please contact us before sending anything back for a return authorization. Packages received without return authorization will be returned unopened. Once authorized, returns must be received within 30 days of purchase date. Shipping charges are not refundable, and items must be sent back in a box, in original packaging, and must be in saleable condition. Because of copyright issues, books, magazines, patterns and opened CDs/DVDs are not returnable. Other nonreturnable items are kits, cut yardage (stabilizers, tyvek, fabric), pens, crayons, markers, metals, and opened paints. All sales are final on sale and clearance items. All returns from outside the USA must be sent by mail. Special orders and large quantity purchases are not retunable without pre-order approval.
How much is shipping? TOP
The minimum shipping within the US is First Class Mail and goes up depending on the weight and size of the products ordered. In some cases the cost given in the cart is more than we will actually charge after your order is packed and weighed. In that case your final total charged will be less than what was originally quoted.
When do you ship? TOP
Normally we ship ASAP, same day if possible. We ship weekdays and most Saturdays. Sometimes we will hold an order if an item is out of stock but expected within a few days, however, this is quite rare. 99% of our orders ship within 24 hours!
Is MeinkeToy.com secure? TOP
Yes. Your purchases on MeinkeToy.com are safe and secure. During the checkout process, we use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your financial data as it transmits over the web. This ensures that your transaction is not viewable by third parties. The SSL layer technology appears on check out pages where financial data is transferred. Your browser will show the secure lock icon when you are on those pages.
Credit card transactions are processed with Authorize.net through their secure servers, we do not handle or even see customer credit card data.
Do you sell wholesale? TOP
Sorry, not at this time. If we ever decide to do so though, it will be posted here on our web site or in our newsletter.
What payment methods do you accept? TOP
Our secure shopping cart can take your VISA or Mastercard, can direct you to the PayPal site for payment, or you have the option to mail a check. If you are paying by check, please wait for our "pay by check" email that will allow us to confirm stock and supply our mailing address.
How will I know my order was processed successfully? TOP
You’ll receive a confirmation email with an order number. If you have no order number (and the email was not caught by your spam filter), then the order was not finished.
Do you charge my order when it's placed or when it ships? TOP
We do not charge your order when it's placed, only when it ships. Many times we adjust the shipping charge to a lesser amount once the package is packed and weighed.
How can I order by phone/mail? TOP
At one time we did accept phone/mail orders, but couldn't keep the stock levels correct between the online catalog and the actual items on hand. So, every phone/mail order had to be manually entered into the online cart anyway just to keep things in check. Eeek - too hard! If you do not have access to the internet at your home, try your local library or a friend's house.
How do I track my order? TOP
We have an Order Tracking page that contains your ordered items and shipping information. We update this page when we ship and post any tracking numbers and links for you. All customers are sent an email when this page updates. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder.
You may also check your order directly, just navigate to the Order Tracking page, input your email address and order number.
I can't find my order number, what is it? TOP
You can retreive your order number on our Order Tracking page. You will need to input the email address used for your order.
Who pays for shipping on a return? TOP
The person returning the item pays for shipping. If it is a case of a wrong item sent or damage, MeinkeToy will pay for return shipping.
I received the wrong item, what do I do? TOP
Please contact us if you receive the wrong item(s), we will make it right.
What happens if a shipment is refused, non-deliverable or unclaimed because of an incorrect address? TOP
If an order is returned, refused or unclaimed by the customer due to customer refusal, negligence, incorrect shipping information or absence we will attempt to contact the customer via phone or email to obtain correct shipping information. Customers are responsible for paying additional shipping and handling fees to have the order re-shipped. If we are unable to resolve the order it will be returned and the customer will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
What happens if there is a pricing or other error on your website? TOP
Although we try our best to have an error-free website, we do make occasional errors. We reserve the right to contact you and correct pricing or other errors prior to fulfilling your order.
Where are you located? Can I shop in person? TOP
MeinkeToy is located and ships from Troy, Michigan. We do not have a regular storefront, but on occasion we sell at seminars or local events. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified!
What is your privacy policy? TOP
The short answer is we never sell, share, trade or rent our customer info with anyone else. It's that simple. We keep your information private as if it were our own (and I am a very private person).
But, if you have some extra time feel free to read the fine print. It will all iron out the same, however.
MeinkeToy is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
Order:
We request information from the user on our order form. Here a user must provide required contact information (like name, phone and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user. We cannot and will not process an order without valid contact information. We do not sell/share customer info to anyone, ever.
Cookies:
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. Some of our business partners use cookies on our site. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.
Sharing:
We use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
We partner with another party to provide specific services (for example, UPS or the United States Post Office). When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.
